My TC-40D calls for NH-410B fluid. I am looking for alternatives. It looks like the Ford standard M2C 134D is the same stuff, as the NH oil is Ambra Multigrade 134. Amsoil tells me that their ATH meets the M2C 134D specs, but don't answer to the NH-410B specification. Any help sure would help. The "Ambra" name refers to a New Holland branded oil, just like CaseIH branded oil has the "Akcela" name. If it's non-brand specific (like some gear oils and other lubricants), then it's sold under the "Tutela" name.

Shell makes a good trans/hydraulic fluid as does Delvac, Amsol, and several others. I often use a New Holland Hy-Tran or my personal favorite which is also by Shell Ambra: Multi G-134.
